B. Ross

of Genry's Gap, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the age of 72. Mrs. Ross was a retired nurse from Shelby Medical Center. She was a member of Bessemer ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, W. T. "Billy" Ross; 2 sons, Joel Thomas Ross (Vanessa) of Memphis, TN and Jason William Ross (Ann) of Birmingham; 1 daughter, Jennifer Marie Vick of Childersburg; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Truman F. Allen (Teresa) of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 15, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Hwy 11 in Bessemer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Humanitarian Fund.
