Austin Dabbs

4 months old, of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2005. God sent us a guardian angel from heaven, and for that we can only be thankful. Why he is now gone cannot be explained, but he will forever be remembered as Chris's little buddy and Alison's little fighter to the end. He is survived by his parents, Chris and Alison Dabbs of Hoover; grandparents, Phil and Marjie Dabbs of Hoover and Dan and Donna Hecklinski of Hoover; great grandparents, Marge Olive of Hoover, Maurice Dabbs of Bessemer and Lorraine Hecklinski of South Bend, IN; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Buddy Gray officiating.
