Audrey Taylor

of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at the age of 76. Merle was retired from SouthTrust Bank after 20 years of service. She was a member of Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Taylor; her parents, Hattie and Roy Johnson; and a brother, Charles Johnson. She was the beloved mother of Linda Bennett (Don), Charles Taylor, Roy Taylor (Linda), and Tony Taylor (Barbara). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian and Kenny Bennett, and Madeline and Matthew Taylor; three sisters, Dorothy Mizerany, Doris Gustin and Edwina Zales (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian and Kenny Bennett, Chris Gustin, Andy, Jason and Tony Milazzo. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2008, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover at 5:30 PM followed by an Incense Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2008, at 11:30 AM at Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
