Aubrey "Ag"

Aubrey Greene Covin, Jr. "AG", of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the age of 75. He was raised in Aberdeen, Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi State University. His career was in sales and he retired from Complete Health/United Health Care.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Regina "Jeanie" Covin; his 2 sons, Mark Covin (Diane) and Michael Covin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Austin, Pierce, Palmer, Madeline, Brock, Bryce, Michael and a little boy on the way.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his dogs and loved being at the lake. His quick smile and quick whit will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 12-2PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2PM in the Chapel. Dr. Joe Slang will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Greater Birmingham Humane Society, South Minster Day School or Alabama Kidney Foundation.
