Anthony Erickson

Anthony Erickson (1978-2020) passed away Monday November 23, 2020 at University of Alabama
Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He passed away from complications of Pancreatitis. Anthony, known by
many as Tony, was born in Coeur d’Alene, ID before the family moved back to Council Bluffs, IA then
later to Omaha, NE. Tony’s mother Theresa was transferred by her job to St. Charles, MO when Tony
was in high school. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in 1997. Tony met the love of his life,
Rebecca Hill and they married at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church on February 1, 2003. They lived in
Missouri where they raised two sons Justin Erickson and Mark Kreske Jr. They moved to Arizona for a
short time to join family that had moved there earlier and decided the dry heat was not for them. They
finally moved to Hueytown, AL to be near other family. Tony was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and
loved comedy such as Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. Tony was the kind of person that would
drop everything and come help you move, even if you did not ask. He is survived by his wife Rebecca
Hill-Erickson of Hueytown, AL; his son Justin Erickson of St. Peters, MO; his son Mark Kreske Jr. of St.
Louis, MO; his father David Erickson and stepmother Sandy Erickson of San Tan Valley, AZ, sister Angela
Lynch and brother-in-law Mitch Lynch of Tucson, AZ, brother Chip Erickson and sister-in-law Carolyn
Erickson of Omaha, NE and many nieces and nephews. Tony is proceeded in death by his mother
Theresa Erickson.
