Annie Mcreynolds

of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the age of 79 at South Haven in Hoover, AL. Mrs. McReynolds was born and reared in Perry County, AL. She began her career at the S & H Redemption Center in 1961 and served as store manager at the stores in Tuscaloosa and Bessemer until her retirement in 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rena Griffin; husbands, Joe Crowe and Buck McReynolds; two brothers, Vaughn King and Woodrow Griffin; a sister, Doris Griffin Gay; and a granddaughter, Amy Denise Fisher. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Crowe Fisher (John) of Tuscaloosa and Wanda Crowe Fowler (Robert) of Bessemer; five grandchildren, Guy, Ben and Annie Fisher, Monica Fowler Miller (Forrest) and Joe Fowler; three sisters, Ruby Nichols of Marion, AL, Margie Hatcher and Jessie Stone of Montevallo, AL; and her special canine companion, Chippi. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 1, 2007, from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Bessemer. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff and caregivers at South Haven and Comfort Care Hospice.
