Annette Brignac

Annette Tyson Brignac, a long-time resident of Decatur, AL, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, at age 85. She was a graduate of Ocilla High School in Georgia and earned a teaching certificate from Huntington College in Alabama. Annette was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 55 years, Edmond. They enjoyed traveling the world together. She was also a proud mother and adoring grandmother and great-grandmother. Annette was an active member of her church and community and used her creativity to make a beautiful home for her family and friends. Her bright spirit and enthusiasm delighted her family, friends, and strangers alike. Annette will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Dewitt and Elnora Paulk Tyson; her husband, Edmond Paul Brignac; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Hope Butler.

Annette is survived by her three children, Lisa Brignac Lynch (Michael), Edmond Paul Brignac, Jr. (Laura), and Stephen Dewitt Brignac (Karen); her six grandchildren, Kristen Brignac Kirch, Alex Brignac, Eleanor Lynch, Owen Lynch, Olivia Lynch, and Joseph Lynch; and one great-granddaughter, Amory Claire Brignac.

There will be a Graveside service in honor of Annette, on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Ocilla, GA.
