Anne Helton

of Hoover, originally of Glade Spring, VA, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2008, at the age of 76. Anne was a talented, artistic homemaker, mother, and wife. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles "Chuck" Helton; a son, Charles T. Helton, Jr. (Cindy) of Winter Park, FL; a daughter, Barbara Anne Helton of Bluff Park; three sisters, Doris Smith of Norfolk, VA, Jody Ryburn (Jerry) of Marion, VA, and Christine Cannon (Thurl) of Glade Spring, VA; two brothers, James Thomas (Linda) of Abingdon, VA and Earl Thomas (Mary Frances) of Tampa, FL; and special "daughter," Judy Wilson of Bluff Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 26, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2008, at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Reid Crotty officiating. Interment will be in The Field of Honor in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
