Anna Vosler

Anna Jane Vosler of Stuart, Florida, formerly of Lockport, New York, beloved wife of the late Cleon W. Vosler, passed away on January 14, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Birmingham, Alabama. She was surrounded by her children, David (Tara) Vosler of Huntington, West Virginia, Richard (Beth) Vosler of Lockport, Rebecca (Bob) Babanats of Birmingham, Alabama, Sam (Fariba) Negahban of Woodbine, Maryland. She was the cherished grandmother of Kara Jane (Mark) Mason, William and Natasha Babanats, Ryan and Matthew Vosler, Nima and Sina Negahban. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Anna Jane was born on August 23, 1932 in York, New York to the late James and Cora Parks. She was employed by Kodak in Rochester, New York. She and Cleon settled in Lockport, New York where they raised their family. Anna Jane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she volunteered much of her time. She also was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels, the Lockport Presbyterian Home and Lockport Memorial Hospital. She and Cleon traveled extensively and visited 42 different countries during their 64 years of marriage. After retirement, Cleon and Anna Jane purchased a home and local restaurant in Fayetteville, West Virginia. They restored the home, which is listed on the National Historic Registry, and ran the estate as a Historic Bed and Breakfast for many years.
Anna Jane was a great wife, mother, mentor and friend. She enjoyed life to its fullest and started each day with a smile on her face. More than anything else, Anna Jane enjoyed her family and friends and she will be missed dearly.
