Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Garrett Williams, 81, of Helena, AL passed away on April 25, 2020. Ann attended Thompson High School, and the University of Montevallo and graduate studies at University of Alabama and University of Alabama-Birmingham. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and teacher. She has been reunited with the love of her life and her Heavenly Father.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Ray Williams; parents, Dewey H. Garrett Sr. and Ruby O. Garrett; and brothers, Dewey H. Garrett Jr. and William Garrett.
She is survived by her daughters, Dava Acton (Lynn) and Raela Williford (Brett J.); granddaughters, Katelyn Bishop (Kip), Janey Ann Acton, and Elizabeth Kay Williford; great-grandchild, Kohen Bishop; brothers, Charles Garrett (Linda) and Curtis Garrett (Donna); sister, Barbara Satterwhite (Leslie); and numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The private family graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Pastor Ken Stroup officiating.
