Ann Scogin

Ann Scogin, of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014, at the age of 89. She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, a faithful Christian woman, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Scogin, Sr. and her son, James Scogin, Jr.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Marie Parsons (Doug) of Austin, TX and Kathy Eudy (Garry) of Hoover; her daughter-in-law, Anne Scogin; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Dobson (Tim), Dina Shimkus (Dr. Brian), Christen Perry (Rob), Mark Parsons (Traci), Laurie Halvorson (Dr. Dave), Dr. Greg Eudy (LeeAnne), and Dr. Grant Eudy (Shelley); and 18 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, February 14, 2014, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 15, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, Dr. Charles Carter and Rev. Garry Eudy officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
