Ann Kennington

Ann Kennington, 95, devoted wife, Loving Mother, grandmother(Nana) and great-grandmother(Gigi) was called to her heavenly home on March 11, 2021. She entered this world on December 12, 1925 in Panama City, FL, born to J. H. and Mary McCall. She spent 95 years of service to others and left a legacy of love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Kennington.

She is survived by two sons Ray Kennington(Paula); Jay Kennington (Cindy) and one daughter Kay Burns(Steve); six grandchildren; Kaysey Faulkner(Jonathan), Erin Vogt(Jason), T.J. Kennington(Laura), Davis Kennington, John Kennington , Jarrod Kennington, and five great grand children and one great grand daughter who won't arrive in time to experience her earthly love.

She was kind and loving to all she met and served others throughout her life. Her family will miss her greatly but rest in the confidence that we will see her again.

A funeral service will be held on March 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home at 2701 John Hopkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Julbilee Choir, Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
