Angie Rudick

of Calera, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the age of 36. She was a 1987 graduate of E. B. Erwin High School. Angie worked for the U. S. Government for the past 17 years and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Huffman. She was a great mother who loved to read to her two children, a loving wife, step-mother, daughter, and sister and was dedicated to her family. Angie loved traveling and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Daryl A. Rudick of Calera; two sons; Jordan L. Pelkey and D. J. Rudick, both of Calera; parents; John William and Madge Smith of Helena; a sister, Susan Hill (Wayne) of Pelham; an aunt, Frances Romanstine of Calera; and an uncle, Vancil Smith (Jean) of Birmingham. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
