It was a cold Saturday morning, but the peace in Parkwood, Alabama for Aldon J. Lagle has made it's complete circle. He was born and raised in his mother and father's home just yards away from the home where he raised his family and passed away in. He passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 with his wife, Doris Dodson Lagle of 66 years, daughthers Lisa Lagle, and Kaye Lagle White, special son-in-law Robert D. White, and grandson Jody White at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Minnie Lagle, brother Herman D. Lagle (Opal), and sister Norma M. Dunn (Clarence). He is survived by his sisters Mrs. Mildred Eaton (Rayburn), Ms. Gloria Wyatt (Willard) and brother Mr. Carroll S. Lagle "Buddy" (Barbara). Anyone who has known Aldon for the 90 good years the good Lord gave him knows of the love that he had for his family, friends and neighbors. He never met a stranger. He was known for his passion to help others by sharing his stories and wisdom to help other's succeed and to be encouraged in life. He was retired from Tennessee Coal and Iron and to have the good fortune to own and operate his own sanitation company, L & L Garbage Service that served the Hoover/Bluff Park areas for over 25 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling in spare time. Services will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1 pm at the Parkwood Church of God.
