Mrs. Adryne Adale Williams Davis stepped out of this time into life eternal and her heavenly home Tuesday, January, 17, 2012, at the age of 42. Born July 9, 1969, Adryne grew up in Hueytown, AL, graduated from Hueytown High School, UAB, and was a teacher at South Shades Crest Elementary. She was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. During her battle with Leukemia, she was an inspiration to many through her courage and faith. The family wishes to thank everyone involved this past year in the care given, the prayers prayed, and the abundant love shown to Adryne, Russ, and their children. She is preceded in death by her devoted mother, Harriet Ann DeVore. She is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Russ, sons, Jared and Colton, a daughter, Tess, father, Dale Williams (Juanita), a sister, JuLeigh Rickles (Clay), 2 step-sisters, Cathy O’Berry and Pam Gilbert, a step-brother, Roger Gilbert, mother-in-law, Harriet Davis, brother-in-law, Brian Davis (Denise), sister-in-law, Leigh Ann Green (Richard), and six nephews, Ryan and Rhett Rickles, Josh Green, Tanner, Hunter and Baker Davis. Adryne was blessed with a large and caring family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many more loving friends and family. The family will receive friends Friday, January 20, 2012, from 11-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Reverend Reid Crotty officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
